Hey.. just got back from LP concert.. :p Boy were they explosive! They rocked the whole stadium!! I had friends who started queing since 5.30! said when they got there, there were a lot a lot of people already, queing. My fiance only managed to get off work at 6. Had a quick din then we were off to join in the KL jam. Traffic report said "don't head towards KL cos there are massive jams everywhere due to LP concert and some road closures!!" Wow.. this is how grand LP is. We parked really far and walked all the way there.

Since they do not allow video cameras, i sneaked my crappy digital cam in. can't capture anything in the dark! Nevertheless, I've attached 4 crappy pics here to share the experience with u since u couldn't make it. :-)

We were at the free standing section which is in the middle of the stadium. The first pic was taken when we arrived at 7.30, my gosh.. the number of people there already...

We found a spot near the front right corner and stood waiting till nearly 9.45 before LP came out. So exhausting.. We were told not to scream/shout and jump by the organizer. Everyone "booooooed". Then, when LP appeared on stage, the stadium nearly collapsed with fans' shouts/screams and cheers. (Proved the warning was a total waste of time!). Chester looked pretty decent :-). He and Mike were shouting all the way and at one point in time, Chester even braved a few jumps hahahhaha.. then we were all crazy after that. almost EVERYBODY was jumping to their songs with the hand gesture. Nobody cared. It's LP's signature for goodness sakes!

The second pic is of the stage and the group. Can't see nuts! 3rd pic is my best attempt of Chester on the screen.

I think LP were quite surprised with the turn out. They were probably worried whether their tics would sell or not and doubt the fans' enthusiasm. But I think we proved them wrong cos in between songs, they kept saying things like "we have never felt this accepted...", and "what a turn out", and Mike said that this was his first time in M'sia and it was so great..

They also knew that many Singaporean and Indonesian fans journeyed far just to see them and they were very thankful. I think with the number of ppl there screaming and cheering and singing along word for word with them, they were giving their all! Especially at 'Crawling' (they kept it to the second last song :) suspense...), that is my favorite number and the crowd and LP were at all time 'jumping shouting' high hahaha.

Since Yahoo only allow 3 pics at a time, I'll send the forth pic on the next email. It was taken from nearly the back of the stadium. Only when I was standing at the staircase there did I realize how big the turn out was. So this is how 35,000 people look like... :)
